PHOTO REQUIREMENTS

To ensure that all competitors are treated fairly, we have established a set of rules. Therefore, following the rules is necessary to get a result and preserve fairness.

Please ensure that you read the rules of the competition before entering and submitting your lash works.

 

Photos to Submit

All competitors should submit the following requirements for fair and consistent judging. Be informed that if the judges can’t see what they are judging, they won’t be able to provide an accurate score.

  • Norwegian Lash Festival are only accepting HIGH-QUALITY PHOTOS. If the photos are blurry, it will be difficult for the judges to assess your work.

  • All photos must not contain any names or business logos/backgrounds.

  • It is strictly prohibited to edit any photos. If the photo is found that you have edited any of your work, that specific entry will be disqualified (refunds are not applicable).

  • Please be advised that all the photos submitted to the Norwegian Lash Festival will be used for professional, advertising and educational purposes.

  • Old\previois work is NOT allowed! Only fresh, not published work will be in for judging.  If sending prevoius work - that specific entry will be disqualified (refunds are not applicable).

  • *NOTE: No eye makeup is allowed unless the work is for FREESTYLE Category. You may apply full makeup for the rest of the categories only for the additional photos to show off your work at its best [optional].

  • Make sure you add a proof of payment (screenshot etc) AND picture of youre firs diploma in your choosen category

 

CLASSIC LASHES & VOLUME LASHES photo requirements: 

  • 1x before photo with eyes closed from behind the model head and eye patches applied to see the condition of natural lashes

  • 1x before photo with eyes open from the front while model seat to see the eye shape and the whole face

  • 1x after photo with eyes closed from behind the model head without eye patches

  • 1x after photo with eyes open looking straight photo of the whole face to see the symmetry of the set

  • 1x Isolated lash

  • 1x after photo of left eye with model looking up

  • 1x after photo of the right eye with the model looking up

  • 1x your favourite photos to show your work at its best [this is optional & makeup is allowed]

 

LASH LIFT photo requirements: 

  • 1x before photo with eyes closed from behind the model head and eye patches applied to see the condition of natural lashes

  • 1x before photo with eyes open from the front while model seat to see the eye shape and the whole face

  • 2x before photo of the lashes from the side to see the curl of the natural lashes - BOTH EYES

  • 1x during photo of the lashes on the rod without any lotion on the lashes

  • 1x after photo with eyes open looking straight photo of the whole face to see the symmetry of the set

  • 2x after photo from the side to see the lift of the lashes - BOTH EYES

  • 1x your favourite to show your work at its best

 

FREESTYLE CATEGORY:

  • 2x close-up photo of the lashes

  • 1x photo showing the whole work, including the background, hair, decor and makeup if there is one.

  • 3x photos to showcase its best
